The pay is usually fair, though a few offers can feel a bit on the low side. It’s still worth checking out and picking through the better campaigns, if that makes sense.

"Pretty clear most of the time"
I’ve used IZEA for a few campaign offers now, and my gut feeling is that they do a solid job laying out what brands are looking for. The briefs are usually clear enough that I can jump in without overthinking it. Every now and then I still have to go back and double-check a small detail, but overall it’s easy to understand the expectations, which makes the work a lot smoother

"Pretty good matches overall"
I found the creator matches to be mostly relevant, which was nice. My sister even looked through a few with me and agreed they made sense for what I was looking for. Not perfect every time, but overall good.

"I filed a dispute and expected at..."
I filed a dispute and expected at least some kind of helpful response, but it felt like they just ignored it. I really regret trusting the process and waiting around for them to take it seriously
"Easy to use and straightforward"
I found the platform simple to use and was able to get around without much trouble. It’s always a relief when something just makes sense, because it lets you focus on what you’re actually there to do instead of figuring out the tool itself...

"Content felt a bit thin to me"
I wanted to like it more, but a lot of the posts felt kind of rushed. Like, I kept reading and thinking—actually, it just seemed like there wasn’t much depth behind some of them

"We did get some leads from..."
We did get some leads from it, so that part was okay. But when I looked at the actual profit, it felt low?? I’m kind of unsure if the ROI really made it worth it.

"Pretty good overall, just wish more campaigns came through"
I’ve been using IZEA for a bit now, maybe a few months or so, and overall it’s been good. There are usually some campaign opportunities popping up here and there, which is nice, but it definitely varies. Some weeks I’ll see a handful, and other weeks it feels like maybe one or two that are even worth checking out.
I just wish there were more options that fit my niche, because I probably pass on or miss out on about half of them since they don’t really make sense for my audience. That said, when a good match does come through, the process is simple and not a huge hassle. I’d give it around 4 stars.

"I set up a campaign on IZEA, and..."
I set up a campaign on IZEA, and it was mostly okay, but it took me longer than I expected to find where everything was. From the way the setup flow is laid out, I kind of got the impression it assumes you already know your way around the platform.
The steps are there, so it’s not like anything was missing, but some parts weren’t super obvious. I had to backtrack a few times to change details, and a couple sections felt slower or more confusing than they probably needed to be.
I did get the campaign submitted in the end, so it does the job. I just think the whole process could feel a bit smoother and more intuitive. Not a terrible experience, just average.

"Getting paid took way too long"
The payout process was frustrating. It took forever for the money to show up, and the fees ended up taking more than I expected. What annoyed me most was that it wasn’t really clear what I was supposed to do next or when I’d actually get paid. I kept checking and waiting without much guidance

"Pretty good results once it got going"
Overall, the campaign did well. The clicks were solid, it just took a little while to get everything optimized and moving in the right direction. Kind of reminded me of trying to figure out a new coffee machine, annoying at first, but once it’s dialed in, you’re glad you stuck with it. No major complaints, just needed some patience upfront.
"Messaging is way harder than it needs to be"
Izea is fine overall, but the messaging part is kind of frustrating. Something simple like keeping up with brand conversations ends up feeling harder than it should. Messages are easy to miss, replies can feel slow, and I find myself having to double-check chats just to stay on top of things.

"Just didn’t feel worth the risk"
I tried using the marketplace for a bit, but it felt messy and hard to trust. For something involving buying and selling, that’s a big deal to me. I ended up stopping quickly because it just didn’t seem worth the hassle.

"I tried using izea.com for a little..."
I tried using izea.com for a little while, and the search filters kind of wore me out. I’d put in what I thought were the right filters, but the results still didn’t always feel that relevant, so I kept tweaking things over and over just to find anything decent. Some of the filter options also felt a bit too narrow or just not flexible enough, if that makes sense. The site itself works fine, but actually finding what you’re looking for takes more effort than it probably should. It’s not awful, but I wouldn’t call it smooth either.

"Payment took longer than expected"
I used izea for a campaign, and the payment process was the most frustrating part. I don’t mind waiting a reasonable amount of time, and I get that there are steps involved, but the lack of clear updates made it feel like I was just stuck waiting. To be fair, maybe other people have had smoother experiences or different timelines, but for me the slow payout made the whole thing feel like more hassle than it was worth.

"Approval takes a minute, but it gets there"
izea has been okay for me overall. The approval process can be slow though, and a couple of campaigns came back with revision notes that weren’t that clear, so I had to do the whole back-and-forth thing. Kind of annoying. But then again, once everything finally gets approved, it works fine and the process feels smooth. I just wish the feedback came faster and was a little more specific upfront.

"The contract was a bit confusing"
I tried using Izea, and honestly... the contract part kind of threw me off. Some details were there, but not really easy to find. A few terms felt buried or just not explained in a way that made sense to me. I did reach out to support, and they replied, but even after that I still wasn’t totally sure what I had agreed to. Maybe it’s fine for people used to this stuff, but for me, it didn’t feel very clear. Not a great experience overall.

Had a little issue and support replied fast. They got it fixed without a bunch of back and forth, so yeah, really happy with it

"Onboarding was decent, but a little slow"
The training was helpful enough to get me started, but a few parts were kind of confusing and I ended up having to ask around to figure things out. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, I just wish the setup steps had been explained a bit more clearly. Did anyone else run into the same issue?

"Couldn’t get it working on my phone"
I tried using this on my phone and couldn’t even log in properly. It kept giving me trouble before I could do anything. Support basically said something like “try refreshing or reinstalling the app,” but that didn’t really help. Frustrating experience.
